Well we had a great time and everyone did a great job of playing. We did not get a big turn out but it was a super time. The player were Allen and Johnny Howington,Chuck Campbell,Jerry Fleming,Dave Nugent,Rick Worley, and Me Sam White. Bryant Aycock was also there but did not play as he had a table set up to sell those famous Walker Seat for Steel Guitar players.WE may be doing it again in late September.I even got a thumbs up from my wife on how great my Lap Steel Playing was.Hope you all had a great time.We will do it again.

I WOULD LIKE TO THANK ALL THE STEEL PLAYERS WHO ATTENDED TODAY. EVERYBODY DID AN OUTSTANDING JOB PERFORMING AT THE GIDDY-UP. WE DIDN'T HAVE ALOT OF STEEL PLAYERS BUT PRETTY GOOD IN ATTENDANCE TO BE THE FIRST STEEL GUITAR EVENT THAT I HAD DONE. ALOT OF INTEREST HAS BEEN EXPRESSED TO ME TO HAVE ANOTHER ONE SO I'M THINKING MAYBE IN SEPTEMBER TO HAVE ANOTHER STEEL GUITAR EVENT BACK AT THE GIDDY-UP. IT WAS A GREAT TIME MEETING NEW STEEL GUITAR PLAYERS. I WAS LIKE TO THANK ALL THE BACK-UP MUSICIANS AND VOCALISTS TO HELPED MAKE THIS A SUCCESS TODAY WITH YOUR SUPPORT. MAYBE SAM WHITE WILL CO-HOST WITH ME AGAIN, ALSO HE DID A GOOD JOB TODAY PLAYING THE LAP-STEEL.
