Adjustable Knee Lever or Pedal with different pulls

Post by Charley Bond »

I designed a nifty adjustable crossrod, that could activate different bellcranks, to pull a different string or strings, to allow the player to select different pulls at will. Even on the fly...

Whaddaya think..? Reese thought it was an excellent idea... but something in my life changed & the idea was abandoned.

I'll have to dig out those drawings

Excel has done this, Carl Dixon posted some pictures and explanations of a couple of different mechanisms several years back. I'm sure a forum search would turn them up. Same basic concept as the old Sho-Bud Baldwin crossover but a much more refined implementation. Sierra had done something like this too at one time. I'm not sure it's worth the trouble, but to each his own
