On an all pull guitar this would have taken about 5 minutes. On a PP this took over 2 hours. P4 lower E to Eb and LKL raise C to C# both on the C neck.
Would like to sit here and chat but must fine tune it all.
Glad time is no object.

Hey Larry, I got Jack Smith's pp last week and it plays like a dream. He had my setup put on for me by Mike Cass before it was shipped. Sounds like you are back playin' pp's. Duane Becker |

YES...
EMMONS P/P GUITARS ARE NOT EASY TO WORK WITH, BUT ONCE THEY ARE SET THEY ARE DONE.
THEY WILL GO "DONE" FOR A VERY LONG TIME. AND IF YOUR TUNING KEYS ARE WORKING GOOD ONE RARELY HAVE TO FINE TUNE.
I KNOW... I OWN ONE.

The only thing that messes with my tuning is old strings. But I'm skeered to death to attempt making changes to the changes ... it's the only guitar I've got. [This message was edited by Steve Richter on 28 November 2004 at 09:48 AM.] |
