At 5.8 LB and 500 watts and loaded with features, this is an amazing sounding amp. You will need a reverb unit and a speaker cabinet. I paid $319.00 for mine over a year ago. I think the regular price now is about $350.00, which includes shipping. For more money, they also have the BX 700, but I can't see why you would ever need the 700 watts for steel.
