This is an attempt at making a quick and dirty flag for my RKR Lever to try and distribute the force on it when using my right leg (I have some sciatic nerve damage on my right leg and am trying to distribute the force so it wont hurt so much. I dont want to switch the lever location because it works well on my universal.
I had some Instamorph lying around from an old project and decided to give it a try. You heat the beads and hand mold it around the lever and let it harden. Less than 10 minutes. First test to make sure it doesnt stick in case you want to slide it off. If it doesnt work as "one big hunk of molded plastic, you can try molding smaller pieces and use them to attach a piece of thin wood.
I am also experimenting with tiny pieces of it on my finger picks to try and make a custom mold. Not sure how that will work as it doesnt stick to the metal fingerpicks but no big deal.
Is a cool product. Available on Amazon. A little goes a long way and can be remelted and reused over and over again.

Yea....the more I look at it, it does look like flatbread. I wanted to try a large area to spread the force out to lessen the pain. Seems to be holding up. And since it it molded to the L shape of the lever, it holds well but still slides off if necessary without a problem.
Both the velcro idea for attaching a board or other object and the pipe insulation idea seem like great inexpensive quick ideas also.
