Howdy all,

Due to my response to a "trade wanted" ad here on the forum regarding Tribo-Tone type bars, I've started getting inquiries regarding the bars I've made and how much I charge for them.

While I've made a small handful of this type of bar, I never set up for production as Eric of Tribo-Tone did. I only made them because....well, I'm a make-a-holic and tend to try and make just about all the toys I get excited about.

Without purchasing materials in larger quantities and setting up for production they are simply too costly and time consuming to make in a one off fashion. Easily 3-4 hours....which would make for a way too expensive bar were I to try to get anywhere near my usual shop rate. A guy has to make a living right?

I have a small machine shop that is oriented towards product development and prototyping (my day job). I had a successful bicycle manufacturing company that I sold almost 20 years ago, when after 21 years I decided production, sales, distribution and 12-15 employees was just not my thing anymore.

Anyway, thanks for the inquiries on this type of bar, but at this time there are none available and I have no plans to make more. I would however trade one of my personal bars for a Zirc bar to add to my collection.

I suggest you all contact Eric Ebner at Tribe-Tone and encourage him to start making his bitchin' bars again.
