I'm looking for Tom Baker in Oregon? I have 14st. Sierra needs some adjusting. Please reply to Loren Mullins or call (360) 807-0144 with message. He's helped me before and is great!

Tom is on the road a lot teching for Marley's Ghost and seldom takes in any repair or adjustment work anymore. Jim Palenscar who owns Steel Guitars of North County (southern Cal.) is who Tom has lined up to take care of Sierra service.

I'd bet Lynn Stafford would either be capable of doing it or know someone closer. Shipping a 14 string Sierra is gonna be spendy

Thank You for the reply's. I am glad to hear that he is still around. I live in Centralia, Wa. and previously (a few yrs. ago) had made arrangements
to meet him at the factory in Mollola. I did have to wait until convenient for him, but he added a pedal to a 12 st. Sierra (became 9 pdls) and adjusted the whole thing to my liking. He observed how I played and amazingly made adjustments on the guitar to my physical body. He also made the necessary repairs on this 14 st. but we ran out of time and I agreed to come back. Unfortunately, it's taken this long for me to be able to do so. Tom was just starting to travel with M.G. back then and really liked it, so I'm glad they are doing well. I was hoping to be lucky enough to meet with him again, to mail this guitar would not work for me and to drive to Cal. can not happen for quite a while. Any further info. from anyone is much appreciated. I'll also try going through the M.G. website. Thanks again...

I think Larry Behm, Harley James, Tony Glassman and several other locals built those guitars for Sierra, and might be a useful resource if you have trouble making contact.

Thanks Ken, that is good info! I just got off the phone with Michael Nash (management) Marley's Ghost will be at The Royal Room (Seattle) May 14, I'm planning on going, and he gave me an e-mail to try. If that does not work, I'll try your suggestions. This is my first message put out to the Forum, I really appreciate everyone's response...
