I'm thinking about buying a new Desert Rose D 10, does anyone have any experience with that Guitar? I like the natural wood look 8 and 5 Emmons setup.

B0b plays one.
They're purty and they sound good.

Stu Schulman in Alaska just got a second one (because he dug the first one a lot). And Dan Tyack plays one--a two pickup model which really grabs my interest.

I think Stu's on his third Desert Rose...Gary Morse has about 5 or 6 of them...and yeah, they're very nice guitars.

I've had my Desert Rose for a little over 3 years and really enjoy playing it. The guitars are very attractive, great tone, and Chuck is great to work with. I bought mine from an individual and had some questions about it and called Chuck and he helped me even though I hadn't bought the guitar from him. Good man. And I needed a lighter guitar which I have with my DR. S-10 with a 1/2 pad....jr

"The man who knows, plays a Desert Rose..."

A very lovely guitar built by a Texas Hall of Famer.

I've got three Desert Rose guitars and for what I need in a pedal steel guitar they are my favorite,Plus Chuck Back is a wonderful guy to deal with.I have a brand new wood neck guitar that is too pretty to leave the house.
