Bob Blair needs no introduction to friends of the Room... he's been a regular fixture at steel shows across the country for years. His Weissenborn (really Cajunborn) playing and singing has touched me every year I've attended. He's accompanied by Olli Haavisto, our Finnish friend, with whom I share a (probably unhealthy) love of Tex-Mex cuisine. Olli is well known in his home country as a dependable side-man on dobro as well as pedal steel. They are accompanied by our own Charlie Irwin on bass.

The Texas Steel Guitar Association's Rick Alexander Sessions are held in memory of Rick Alexander, who ran the non-pedal room at the annual TSGA Jamboree for many years. You can find Rick's performance and instructional video on YT under the rickalexander47 and 'Rick Alexander 1947-2009' channels. Gone but not forgotten, thanks for your contributions Rick.

This is wonderful. Sweet stuff.

And the bonus lesson on how to handle a mic by Rose.

Nice stuff gentlemen. And the drummer forgot to turn off his snare.

Thanks everyone, and a special thanks to Stephen Cowell for his incredible hard work and dedication in making the Rick Alexander Sessions run so well this year, and for lending me his wonderful Cajunborne so I didn't have to bring mind on the plane. Also thanks to Albert and Debbie Talley and everyone else at the TSGA for their support of this venture. I'm looking forward to many more.

Actually, you can't tell, but I knocked the mic out of Rose's hand... just letting me know to stay *far* away from the stage!
