Here's Corey and Kevin doing "Don't Let Him Ride" by Oris Mays... scary good! This was one of the (many!) peak moments at this year's RANP... everyone had a great time and already looking forward to next year. Thanks to all my donators and helpers, and especially the talent... couldn't have done this without Rose Sinclair, Bob Blair, Mike Misetich, Mark Moseley, Carco Clave, Ivan Reddington, the list goes on. I'll post more as time (and bandwidth) allow. With the time change it's now 4am... restaurant opens in two hours! To bed... to bed...

Hi Stephen,

Thanks for posting this and for all your good work with TSGA videos.

I met Corey at TSGA last year and he was kind of quiet and shy. It's good to see him jumping in to the action.

By the way, "Don't Let the Devil Ride" was composed by Memphis gospel singer/composer Oris Mays. Brother Joe May, a powerhouse gospel vocalist aka "The Thunderbolt of the Middle West" probably had the biggest hit with it. It has become a standard with the House of God "sacred steel" players.

Thanks again.

Thanks for the heads-up Bob... I'll see about editing the info. Aaron Neville popped up and I ran with it! I first met Kevin in the Benoit room in 2012... I had no idea about his bottleneck alter-ego, but he's a monster of the first order, and a swell fellow to boot. I'll be posting his whole solo set as well as the whole Corey Herbert set as I go through them... doing it chronologically now... I just couldn't wait to post the best bit first, probably should have waited but I had to get it out there... really great show, peak experience all 'round. Hope to see you there next year Bob!
