I've spent my last twenty birthdays in Dallas but not this year; I'm passing due to scheduling problems. I'll sure miss the show especially since St. Louis will be no more....Ya'll have a LARGE time.

Russ, I'm a nobody, but I was in one of the Dallas "rooms" years ago where you were demo-ing steels. As I watched you play, you did some stuff that impressed me, and I asked you about your blocking technique.
You ever so graciously showed me how you did it. I'll always remember your patience with a (still) fledgling steel player.
