Thanks Jack, is there a phone number you could point me to? The one on the Emmons website no longer is working. Chris, I just meant I think its a later year, rather than earlier.....but Im just guessing by its condition.

OK Folks, The jury is in. Received a nice e-mail from Ron Lashley Jr. that my Black SD-10 LL II serial # 2356L was shipped to Northern Kingdom Music on March 10, 2008. Now my curiosity is at rest. J.R. Rose

Just moving this up so everyone might get the chance to read it and see that the mystery was solved. Also the guitar was shipped to Northern Kingdom Music, Bangor, Maine. J.R. Rose

larry...i think derby steels are as good as anything made. probably underestimated.
tony..i'm 67 also. nothing makes sense to me.
I'm 65 -- Chris, is that what I have to look forward to ??? Is it related to diet??

As far as when the stamping was done..aren't there any living former employees who know??

I've always noticed that Derby steels get grabbed real quick - would love to try one, but never have a chance :)
