Any one else have any trouble getting strings 1 & 2 through the hole on the tail piece?

It seems the hole is not big enough. The only way I can get these 2 strings through is by tightening the string until it snaps thru.

Does anyone know a fix for this?

Thanks,

Joe

I just twist the string with the ball, sort of screwing it in through the hole. It is the tail of the wound back part of the string hanging up. I had a real problem with one set , the end was sticking out at 90 degrees , so I squeezed it gently with a small pair of pliers. I'm considering reaming out the hole with an appropriate sized welder's tip cleaner.
