Making progress in music.

Post by Bob Doran »

One thing that always amazes me, is that, at least for me, one can go months without making progress, and then, even if you haven't practiced, all of a sudden you make a quantum leap and can do things you never dreamed possible.
It is one of the great wonders of music.

Progress is like a staircase where each step gets taller than the previous step. In the meanwhile your brain has to rewire some connections before it all ends up in your fingers. Everything seems so easy afterwards Image
[This message was edited by Bengt Erlandsen on 05 November 2004 at 06:05 AM.]
