Derby SD-10 - SOLD! Donation to follow.....

Post by Joe Thurman »

Selling my Derby SD-10 and asking price is now $1,900.00. This is a 3 X 5 (vertical on left knee). Great shape! I do accept PayPal just pay the fees and we are set to go! I will ship CONUS for the actual amount. Local pickup available. Emmons set up...E's on left. There is a rocker switch in the back and I'm guessing at one time someone had a coil split on a pick-up. The switch is not wired to anything. I believe the earlier Derby's used universal end plates. My other SD 10 does not have the cutout for the C6. Great guitars....thanks for all the positive comments!

I have the twin in a black color. Play it every day, great sustain and tone, tunable splits, string gauged roller nuts, nice guitars.

Owned this guitar's identical twin back in the mid '90's, including the narrow pedals. Asked Charlie Stepp about the presence of the rocker switch and he stated that (at that time) all of his guitars had the endplate opening and neck selector rocker switch installed regardless whether it was intended as a single or double neck.

I have its twin in midnight blue. I've owned MSA, EMCI, and Sho-Bud. They are all great in their own right, but the Derby plays more smoothly than all of them, no contest there; great sustain, too.
