I just ordered a Mullen G2 SD10 and would like to hear what you G2 owners think of these beautiful machines? Please post photos if you have them.

Best I've ever owned and played. Custom built for me in Sept. 2009. Never had any issues at all.

I have 2 D-10 G2's and couldn't be happier. I recently moved the A,B and C pedals one position to the right and now I'm even more happy.

You've made a great choice in ordering a G2. I first played one that belonged to a friend back in 2009. Within a couple months I had sold my Mullen RP (which was a great guitar) and bought a G2. I now own my second one and I couldn't be happier!

I don't have any pics saved to share, but I love my 5x5 Sd10. My favorite part is the ease of work. I spend a lot of time on the road and when something messes up, it's easy to remove the bell cranks and work on. Sounds and plays great. I have an E66 pup in it that I love the sound of.

Here's mine! It's a beauty of a machine. Unfortunately I don't know how great it sounds because I suck at playing. Otherwise, it's great!!

As far as I'm concerned, they're the best guitar that can be bought. That's why I've got 3 of them.

I have an SD10 I love and a D10 on order. Finest out there in my opinion. The mechanism is so smooth and precise. And standard split tuning on all strings has changed my life!

I just brought this home last night. This steel once belonged to Rudy Osborne. We lost him and his wife last year but I was very blessed be able to purchase this from his daughter. I haven't played it yet as it's set up with the Day setup but will change it over and use it along with my Royal. [/img]

The best pedal steel guitar I have played over the past 25 years. Smooth action, stays in tune wonderfully, sounds tremendous. Not enough can be said for this wonderful instrument.

Two G2s

Post by Leo Melanson »

I have two G2's .. one always boxed for gigs and one setup for practice and lessons.
Copedants are identical except I have the Franklin pedal on my gig guitar.

The first time I played a G2, I was amazed at how smooth and reliable the pedals and knees were and how steady the tuning was. It is also great to work with the Mullen team when adding/changing the guitar setup. They are always very helpful and will get you anything you need.

Changed my order.

Post by Andy DePaule »

Have ordered a Royal Precision last month and made the deposit.
Thay have not started it yet as it's due to be delivered in mid March when I get back to the states.

Mike resopnded that it was due to be made soon, but not yet.
I just sent an e-Mail to change it to a G2 as I may as well get the best.
Only $800.00 more to get the best there is to offer, Why not?

Funny mine is going to be all polished silver including the covering instead of formica.
Thought I had an original idea but see on this post another with that on that front.

Mine will be an SD-10 with a shorter Black arm rest than usual only going as far as the 5th fret. No need beyond that for me. Also only Black formica on the front upper deck under the silver neck. Lower deck will be silver as will back and front.

Then I could another one on their site too, Oh well.
Too hard to have an original idea.
The waiting is a killer.
