Jacob has been working on a lot of E9 stuff, but also working in some C6 tunes. He has learned panhandle rag, some of night life, and boot heel drag. He seems to slow down and play more methodical as the back neck is so different, but is getting a good start. Thanks to Mike McGee for all the help. Sorry for the few times is distorts a bit. I was trying out a new phone and standing to close to the amp. I plan on posting a video of Jacobs first steel show at Baxter Springs in October, just need to figure out how to edit the video to cut out down the length. He also was invited to play a show in Conway Missouri in November. He is really having a lot of fun playing.

You're getting some real good tone there, kiddo! Keep up the good work. Wish I'd started when I was your age.

Thanks for posting Jason. I was wondering how Jacob was coming along with the steel.

He is doing GREAT.

Thanks Dale. Jacob is getting ready to play your guitar in a few weeks at a nursing home with his school music class. He said he was proud to play for true country fans.lol

Nicely done, Jacob!

Wish I had started at that age.

That C6th neck will keep a fella out of the reloading supplies (another "nice little hobby") Laughing

Build your kid a demo tape. Don't document his every move. He won't be able to remove footage after your death. Support.

Is it okay to exploit minors on the forum? He's clearly not in charge here...
