Great write-up - congrats!

So you must remember when WSCP was a good country music station. I occasionally had to go to Fulton for work and was happy when I got within range of that station.

Buck, how was Martin DelRay to work with? I loved his material, I sang "Lillie's White Lies" for years, band and audiences both always loved that tune. Are you playing steel on his albums?

Nice article, Buck. I didn't know there were any "Famous" steel players from upstate New York. I caught your set at Norwalk at the PSGA show this year and really enjoyed your music. Happy New Year...

Great interview Buck...do you remember meeting Johnny Dugan a Guitar/Steel Player from upstate New York who played in Nashville for a while? He was asking me if I had ever heard of you? Smile I said that anyone who knows anything about Country Music knows what a great player Buck Reid is. Smile
Just wondering?

I heard the name Johnny Dugan back in the 70s. I was playing bass with Charlie Hughes and the Westernaires at the Bell Hotel in Schenevus, NY circa 1973. Charlie mentioned that a good steel player by the name of Johnny Dugan would occasionally sit in with the band. I had just bought my first steel guitar in 1973 and started the learning process. I never did meet Johnny or hear him play.
