I apologize in advance if this is in the wrong section?

Earlier this year Larry was selling his SHO~BUD...during that time, someone posted that his wife had passed. I've tried emailing him a couple times to no avail...
He's retired from the railroad now and I rarely see trainmen, at least where I can converse.
I'd be interested to know that he's doing okay, and even chat with him if at all possible? Thanks

I briefly talked to Larry the other day. He's doing fine as far as I know and is quite happy to have a brand new custom Mullen on order. Larry's a good guy...

Thanks for the update Tyler. I'm glad to hear that he's doing alright. If it's not to much to ask, would you tell him I was inquiring? Much obliged.

It is good to hear that. Larry and I have know each other for many years and I too have lost contact with him. Wishing him well and very sorry to hear that his wife has passed. Do not want to believe that. I will try contacting him again. J.R. Rose

Edward, Just saw this. Yeah its me Larry.
Sold m y beautiful Bud and bought a G2 from Danny Sherbon in July. Liked it so much I just ordered another. two steel exactly the same except for color. One for practice at home and one to play out.
My beautiful wife, Sharon, past away on July 30th on our first retirement trip in Estes Park, Co. while visiting some friends in Estes Prk.
Except for a major speed bump all is going good. I haven't missed many weekends since I retired, Mar. 5th. When not playing with my primary band, I quite often get a little extra picking time somewhere.
Thanks for inquiring. I've known Jim Rose for over 40 yrs. and built my first steel. Known Tyler about5 yrs or so and helped me order my my new G2. BTW, I will play my new G2 on the bandstand. All of my gear is player gear to be played in some honky tonk, private parties, smoke and non-smoke alike and I hate smoke but......
Keep pickin', Larry

Good to hear from ya, Larry! I looked for you in Waynoka this summer, while re-newing the bridge east of there...I ran into a switchman on the local there and asked then? I don't recall his name, but he said he knew ya, hadn't seen you in a few weeks(at the time) and knew nothing of you retiring, but confirmed the sad news about Sharon...my most sincere condolences.
I get to Amarillo, occasionally, would like to look you up and visit sometime, if you're up to it and have the time? Congrats on your retiring and new guitars! Sounds that you're "in demand" more than ever?
Special thanks to Tyler and JR!
