George, you are correct. I told William that if only a few watch live, I wouldn't think they would mind if he stopped doing it live.
On a personal note, it would free his weekends not having to do it Saturday, he could do this any time and have it available by Saturday.
Take thanksgiving weekend, he could do the lesson on Monday and have it available for the weekend and he is free to enjoy the holiday.
Just my opinion. Most don't watch live and all the bugs are worked out on the non-live version.

William, I believe in what you are doing. You put out a lot of great stuff. I wish more that wanted to learn would support you, everyone that supports you helps keep you on the air and that helps all.

Agree

Post by Joey Andrews »

Lee I could not agree more. Its a shame that more people don't take advantage of what William is offering. His prices reflect that he truly loves to teach the pedal steel guitar and is not looking to make a quick buck. Don't let his prices fool you. You will get you money worth just on the work sheets alone.

Larry have you broke the news to Rachel, she is becoming a icon in the pedal steel world. You certainly need to keep a eye on (NC ace), he will be
up in your neck of woods cooking with her.

Hi Mike and welcome to the group!
I am sure you'll like it here and I know you
will learn a lot! William sure makes it fun with his down home humour but, he sure is serious about what he teaches and makes it easy to learn! Many times he has gone out of his way to telephone or email me to make sure I understand if I am having trouble with a particular phrase or piece! He is that kind of guy. Time to turn off this computer and get practicing! ;)

I bought some stuff off of William in I think '09 Steel Guitar World. I had intended to take lessons from him back then, but one thing led to another.
I have been with him a little over a year now and can say I wish I started earlier.
This week I set out and copied all the Intros to the Project Tunes then all the intros that we get each week, I have 123 to date. I put together an Intro book and then added the 12 Easy to Play Money Intros Course he sells. 123 Intros and adding each week. Well worth the $5.00,week.
I would suggest not waiting any longer and sign up.

William played a beautiful version of the song 'The Lighthouse' at the beginning of the lesson. I really like that song. The rest of the lesson was great also.
