Merry Christmas/Our Hawaii Trip/Christmas Island

Post by Steve Marinak »

Below is a link to our family "Christmas Card". I thought I would share with my fellow steel guitar junkies. I'm new to the instrument this year and have been playing it more than my "regular" guitar. We made a trip to Hawaii this year, it's truly paradise, I'd recommend going.

I've been taking lessons with John Ely this year. Along with that Doug Beaumier may notice I lifted a couple ideas for the solo break from his C6 book with the same song. And a big thank you to Rick Aiello for fixing up my guitar and amp tone.

OH, and that's my son's playing with me on the tune. Hope to add my daughter with vocal harmonies this week if she can get a break from studying.

Merry Christmas everyone.

(I'll take any advice on playing as I am a newbie)

Don't go in the water after lunch. You'll get a cramp and drown. - Mother.
