Congratulations Bill. Well deserved.
I've said for s long time that Bill should be in the Steel Guitar Hall of Fame to recognize him for the extensive video collection he maintains and shares with the steel guitar community. If you think this is easy, you should try recording and editing some of these videos. Bill's work is professional and enjoyable to watch, and he gives credit to the performers. He's really done, and continues to do a lot to promote steel guitar.

Yep! We need more folks like Bill. Way to go buddy!
Just wish a keyboard player that can play behind steel pickers would appear. Maybe a fellow named Roy can do it. Hey RR, my friend, thanks.

Thank you Roy for posting this. Yep, when you get an award from your peers, it means everything.
To clarify, it is the Atlanta Country Music Hall of Fame (they save the GA HOF for the real stars).
Here is a picture from Saturday night. Now let me tell you, Linda sure makes me proud that I swooped her up at the age of 16. Whew! She hung in there with me since we first met in 1966 and married as soon as she graduated from high school in 1967.
Thank you all for your kind words. I am so honored and humbled.

AUTHORIZED George L's, Goodrich, Telonics and Peavey Dealer: I have 2 steels and several amps. My current rig of choice is 1993 Emmons LeGrande w/ 108 pups (Jack Strayhorn built for me), Goodrich OMNI Volume Pedal, George L's cables, Goodrich Baby Bloomer and Peavey Nashville 112. Can't get much sweeter.

You couldn't let well enough alone. I hope that plaque keeps you warm at night. I've got a feeling you might be sleeping on the couch for awhile. 1967?
Seriously, having a good partner that will tolerate this musical journey is a reward in of itself. You are both talented and blessed. Congratulations to both of you!
