From the 60s, in great condition with tweed case. "Solid wood body with a laminated pearlised finish," according to the old Hofner ad for this guitar. Type 510 Hofner pickup. Has a sort of foam on the bottom, which is wearing thin in places. These are very hard to find. I tracked one down in Cornwall and took a train there from London to get it. Pots are still a little scratchy when turned, after a cleaning and one of the latches on the case has some trouble staying closed. A very rare, beautiful gem of a lap steel.

Hofner
I have one almost the same, the controls differ somewhat.
The wood is European ash and fretboard looks like African Blackwood.
Mine also has the rubber on the bottom.
It plays well and I would not sell mine.
Good luck.
