Just dreaming of course, but - Who would you like to see put out an instructional non pedal video ? I'd love a lesson with Herbert Hanawahine.

I'd like to see a Jerry Byrd or a Junior Brown lap steel video.

Those 2 guys are my favorites for completly different reasone.

Jerry of course is just the best no one on earth gets as pretty of tone as he does and Junior always makes me laugh and is so wild and crazy would love to see him do a lesson on Hula Hands love those high harmonics he gets on that song.

Mark, maybe you're not aware JB has a video out?

Scotty's Music usually carries it; click on this link if you're not aware of it:
http://www.scottysmusic.com

But DON'T click on the Video Instruction category. Click on the "More Instruction by the Pro's" & follow the Jerry Byrd breadcrumbs deeper in.

Disregard of course if you already know about it.
[This message was edited by Bob Kagy on 27 May 2001 at 01:44 PM.]

Love to see someone do a video, or a book for that matter, of the old style (Helms, Byrd) country stuff. Those old Hank Williams licks and all that. Anyone know a source for that kind of material? Bill Chaviers is helpful, but one doesn't want to impose too much, you know what I mean?

Scotty's Music has a Don Helms book - 10 Hank W tunes played on the accompanying cassette by Don, who also apparently verified the tab...
scroll to the bottom of this page to find it http://www.scottysmusic.com/miscinst.htm

Has anyone used Herb Remington's videos? I saw them on Bobbe's site today and am thinking of getting them.

Please let me know.

I could make a video on how not to play non-pedal steel!

BTW, the Herby vids are pretty good!
