I'm use the same brew as Mr. Sexton - fiddle rosin and alcohol - enough alcohol to thin the rosin . . I shake it up in an old plastic film canister with a tight lid , pour it into a small bottle like what's used for ear drops - even added a tiny bit of my son's cologne to make it smell a little better . .
A few drops on your pick fingers is all ya need . . Works good for a 6 string pick too . .

"I’m sure I’m not the only one with this problem. I must wear my picks so tight to keep them in place that the little holes dig into my skin. And hurt after a little while. Being retired, my fingers are very soft and picks are hard to keep on with my hands not being callus. I, like a lot of people, wet my fingers, but they are still so tight they hurt. Knowing Wayne Hobbs for long time, I knew if he said it works great, it would.
So after trying it, and every time I used Sticky-Picks, I loosen my picks a little more. And now they feel like they are part of me. I am a big fan of Wayne’s, and now I’m a big fan of Sticky-Picks….."
Here is a link to Wayne's Website: www.sticky-picks.com
Also he sells Sticky-Picks on Amazon @ http://www.amazon.com/Gold-Tone-Sticky- ... B00JYF0UB6
I'm not in any way connected with Sticky-Picks, I just love the product.

The new SADDLE finger picks is a patented finger pick that operates just like the ring on your finger. Does your ring go flying off or do you have to think about it to realize you even have one on. The soft tissue that pushes the conventional finger pick off is the same soft tissue that holds the pick on. The patent office thought it was a very unique idea and just awarded it a patent. Only available on line.
