Repairs to Mesa Boogie

Post by Roger Dillingham »

Hey guys! I just recently acquired a Mesa Boogie Studio Preamp and it needs a little TLC I believe. Does anyone know of a good and reasonable repair station for Mesa Boogie they could recommend? Thanks for you help on this. Keep on pickin'.

MB Studio Preamp

Post by Don Mogle »

Hey Roger,

There's a place called Zoo Music in Fort Worth that is a repair facility for MB stuff. I've not used their service, so I cannot testify to how good they are.

Have you searched the MB website to see where their service representatives are located? I'm sure there's got to be someone in Kentucky.

Let me know what you find out. I have a MB Studio Pre too.

Don

Mesa Boogie Repairs

Post by Roger Dillingham »

Thanks, Robert & Steve! I have considered sending it to either the Nashville, Tenn. area or the St. Louis metro area for repairs since they are geographically closest to me in Western Kentucky. I spoke with a young man at Nashville Amplifier Service in Franklin, Tenn. this afternoon. I may try either them or British Audio in Nashville as you mentioned, Steve, since Nashville area service would probably save me at least two days in shipping time as opposed to St. Louis.
Thanks a bunch, Guys! Roger
:) BTW, Steve, how is the labor rate at British Audio?
