Dicky Overby tab for "pride"

Post by Tim Lucas »

Does anyone have the solo for Johnny Bush "Pride" where Dicky Overby did incredible solo? It's an old version and maybe one of you guys worked this out in the past. If I had to, I'd pay for this tab. Just can't get it right. Thanks for all your help in advance.
Tim Lucas (aka) Worked many years locally and professionally. All kinds of equipment. I play '68 Sho Bud "Professional" and Mullin RP. Use both Session 400 and Nashville 112 mostly...also Magnatone lap steel.

Johnny Bush version of 'Pride'

Post by Tim Lucas »

Hello Josh,
Thanks for your reply. It's a great solo worthy to listen to. Go to You Tube and type in
"Pride" Johnny Bush. Or visa versa. Or type in dicky overby -pride. The solo just after fiddle solo. This version was done by Bush in '68. The old Ray Price gem. But, wow that Overby solo has been plaguing me for years. Great if you can help out. Thanks again.
Tim

Overby solo

Hey Josh, you're right. It's the live version with the B/W pix of the band. Solo part I'm talking about is 1:25 into the tune. What a classic. Thanks again Josh
