So it makes more sense to reserve a room on Sunday night, right? Gotta call Doubletree--

Just booked my room for Saturday and Sunday nights at the Doubletree. There is a discount for attendees. The discount code is "PED". Get 'EM before they are gone! $85/ night plus tax with the discount. This is truly an incredible line up. A good turn out will ensure future such shows and lineups. Hoping to see a packed house this year.

Wow, with Buck and Sid and all the rest of the talent that is on the lineup this will be a show to remember.
It's a shame that it is so far from Arizona...
Enjoy a really successful show.

There should be a few, as well as the artists selling their CD's and products. Jeff or Bob may have more particulars on who will be there.

PSGA 42nd Annual show 11/8/15

Post by Bob Maickel »

We have confirmed that the following vendors will be at the show displaying their products and answering questions:

Jerry Fessenden of Fessenden Steel Guitars
John Sheridan with Gretsch/Sho-Bud items
Dave Hayes & Tony Giordano of Glissando Pedal Steel Products. Active computer display in hall at entrance.

GFI Musical Instruments will have a product display, but no rep available.

The Pedal Steel Guitar Association will process memberships and renewals and also have a variety of CD's, Cassettes, and some vinyl LP albums, George L Strings, and some previously owned electronic accesories equipment for sale.

The steel players will have courses and CD albums for sale and will be available to answer questions.

BTW the special PSGA room rate expired on Nov. 1st so any last minute room reservations will be at normal rates.

There will be a PSGA business meeting at 9:45 am in the ballroom for the election of officers. The incumbent officers are candidates for re-election. (Admittance for MEMBERS ONLY)

Just 6 days until showtime!

Hi Everyone,

Sunday is going to be one of the best shows that the PSGA has had in years, so go out of your way to attend and support our efforts, you will be thoroughly entertained.

I am really looking forward to seeing Cindy Cashdollar formerly with Asleep at the Wheel, the great Buck Reid who has been with Lyle Lovett and his Large Band for many years, the great Sid Hudson from Virginia, Mike Sweeney from Nashville and the great Jimbeaux Cohen from the City of Brotherly Love (is it really like that there, Jim?), John DeMaille from Upstate NY, formerly Long Island, Jeff DeMaio and Gunsmoke from nearby Darien Ct, Jack Stanton from South Jersey, and Chuck Campbell.

All this for only $20, the best bargain around.

And not to mention the best backup band in the business including Telecaster great Van Manakas on guitar, Western Caravanmember and native Lubbock Texan, bassist Steve Alcott, Fiddle Great Guy 'Fooch' Fischetti from Woodstock, NY, and 'Million Dollar Quartet' time keeper Dave Sonneborn on drums.

Topping the day off will be a tribute to Buddy Emmons with some of our performers and a great video tribute of Buddy from a past performance at the PSGA.

Don't miss this show, Hope to see everyone there at the Doubletree in Norwalk on Sunday November 8 at 11am.
Regards, Craig
