This is an odd request, I know - does anyone know the weight of one of these guitars EXcluding the case? I have to come up with an accurate figure, and I only have the case here with me - the guitar's at work!

LeGrande III with 8+8. I appreciate any reponses!

The same way we used to weigh hens. First you weigh yourself, then you weigh yourself holding the hen, and subtract the two weights.

Nope, wrong Big Jim! Bobby, the guitar was set up so I turned it up on it's endplate and balanced it on the scale.

Jerry!!!

I'm really touched - thanks for going to that trouble in response to my question; it's a great help!

The problem with the 'hen weighing' method would be that I doubt that my bathroom scales could deal with a steel guitar AND Roger Rettig at the same time....

Thanks again.
