Cor, do you have a copy of the money order, or only a copy of the money order receipt?<SMALL>i only have a money order receipt. from what i send to them...</SMALL>
A money order receipt only proves that you bought a money order. For your case to have any merit, you'll have to prove that someone from the Emmons Co. actually <u>cashed</u> that money order. This would require a copy of both the front and back of the original money order, so that the signatures and banking transactions could be verified.
I think he knows this quite well, Erv.<SMALL>"the only thing you get by stirring a pot is more stink?'</SMALL>
If this deal stinks as bad as it looks from the info we have here, I think it's a good idea to let every one know.
If the stink is bad enough that everyone notices, maybe there will be some steps taken to resolve the mess.
If not, keep stirring!

As Donny says, a money order receipt only proves that someone bought a money order. Was the money order sent to Emmons Guitar Co? And, interspersed along this thread, are ACTUAL stories of guys needing, and receiving, parts from Emmons.
After the restructuring, and Ron jr. and Rebecca taking the company back over, does anyone actually BELIEVE that the most respected, and INARGUABLY best-known name in steel guitars, would pull a stunt like this?
BTW, I mean NO disrespect to the other steel builders out there. There's some fine machinery being built---but has ANYBODY been at it as long as Emmons?

The Emmons Co. has many friends here, and we'd be glad to hear a word directly from Emmons on the matter. This present pattern will only result in further damage to the company, and that would be a shame. Their product is excellent.

Be careful what you post folks.
Speculation about the company's financial health is what caused Cor's original post to be closed.
