Were all of the Jerry Byrd Bjs bars tapered? And were they 7/8"?
I've never seen or heard about Jerry playing a tapered bar. I own one and was surprised how steep the taper is and always wondered about it.

Gary ,Bill Stroud made Jerry Byrd bars with a round nose also . JB bars are 3/4 inch. We had an 8 string 7/8, not the same bar. I still have 4-- 8 string bars left . email me if interested Thanks Leon.
