Mullen makes hall of fame

After making a name for himself in the very competitive music industry, Del Mullen, Seibert, was recently notified he will be inducted into the 2016

International Steel Guitar Hall of Fame for manufacturing the world-renown Mullen pedal steel guitar.

Stemming from a fascination he had with his brother Willard’s steel guitar, Mullen built his first instrument in his kitchen back in 1968.

This steel guitar took Mullen two years to complete, using a hand-drill, hacksaw, a file and a design he had formulated in his head.
