Just picked up British Country Music People BMP's september issue, nice article about the legacy of Buddy Emmons. Also some sad news about Lloyd Green... hope he will be well soon.

It was Bob Powell (then-editor of CMP) who introduced me to Buddy one night at the Nashville Rooms.
I've told the story before, but it was my first night playing my brand-new steel guitar (a ZB Student) in public and of all the people in all the bars in all the world who could have walked in - it had to be Emmons!
