Hello all,

A memorial and jam for Jerry Hendrix is being planned for Sunday, November 8th at the Manistee VFW hall.

The room that has been reserved will seat about 100 people, with room for the band and about six steel players to be set up alongside. The kitchen will be open for dinner for those who may want it.

The exact format is as yet undecided, but the plan is to have a big ol' jam session in honor of Jerry.

More details will be forthcoming as we get closer to the time. If you're a musician and think you can make it, please jot a quick reply down so we can have some idea of how many players might show up. This will help us to better organize things.

If you have any questions, please drop me a PM.

Thanks and hope to see many of you there!

I've been asked to pass along that the memorial and jam for Jerry Hendrix is going to be postponed until sometime in the spring. It sounds like the family wants to put more time into planning something extra special in honor of Jerry.

I Will post a new announcement when details are finalized.

Thanks all,

Skeeter
