1978 ShoBud Pro III Custom

Post by Ryan Dalton »

I have a ShoBud Pro III Custom that I learned was made somewhere around the 2nd week of February, 1978 thanks to Mr. Michael Yahl. This guitar had been kind of stripped down before it came into my possession. It now has 1 neck, 3 levers, and 3 pedals.

I thought about using it as a restoration project but from the advice of other members on the forum, I have decided to let someone else tackle that if they choose to. I now have a brand new Mullen G2 9+8 and have no need for this beautiful instrument anymore. I would love to see it go to someone with more knowledge of it that could properly take care of it.

This is the first pedal steel I ever came to own and I feel I somewhat overpaid for it but that is my fault. I paid $1,500 for it but I know that to tear it down and restore it with another neck and everything it needs to complete it, it would cost a good bit of money.

SO, with that in mind, I'd like to start at $1,000 + Shipping.
