Time marches on.
"Real" country music IS part of our national conscious and has spread all over the world.
It has become an archtype and will not ever go away.
Carry the torch but remember, one must adapt, or perish.

All I can think of is they introduced country music to the Pop Music crowd that might not have otherwise listened to it.
Did each one introduce country music to a certain group of listeners?

Wayne Carver,All these folks poured out their lavish amount of money on our life style time of Gold Fish Caviar for the love of our Traditional Country Music and they all are famous people who most of them are dead and gone. They were a big part of Hollywood as Artist/TV & movie Stars & lover of our music. All them name had a career in the Music Business Industry. ACM History book. ;-)
