G# to A# change on universal

I've noticed on universal tunings the G# to A# change. Does anyone have this & if so, please comment on what you can get with it? First thoughts are more diminished chord voicings. Thanks!

It's a stand pedal on Sierra's U12 setup.

With your E to Eb lever and the G# to A# pedal engaged...results in a Major 7th chord starting with your 9th string. Your 5th string (B) is your root string.
Open chord at the nut would be a BM7 chord...B D# F# A#

You could study-up on the standard D10 "C6th Pedal-4" changes (search threads).
This is the same function, just on a B6th tuning.
It is often left off of S12U setups in favor of a "reduced instruction set", as I like to call it.

S12U's that were originally designed to mimic a D10 usually have that pedal.
G# to A# is also part of the P7 function.

Like stated before, it's a standard C6-change, normally on pedal 4, i swapped it with pedal 8(boo-wah). There are a few nice movements in the E9-context as well. That's why i love the Uni...
