Does anybody know Steve's last name, who was demonstrating the Excel Superb at Scotty's ISGC on Friday, Sept 4th? Thanks.

Anyone have contact info for Steve? Is he the U.S. person to talk to about Excel pedal steels? Looking for detailed info on their latest models.

I agree, Steve Sanford is a very friendly fella that loves to share info on the Excel guitars.
Not sure how to get ahold of him tho.

Steve is from Mississippi I believe, and yes, one heck of a player. He's a great guy and runs a farm supply store during the day. I've been able to play guitar behind him there a few times, great player.

I Appreciate all you fellas saying such nice things about me on the Forum. I'm just an old South Mississippi country boy that loves Pedal Steel Guitar.
Mitsuo Fujii, who was at the booth with me, owns Excel and also builds every guitar himself. He loves input from anyone that has an idea for improving the instrument. If there's any way I can help,my E-mail address is stevesanfordsteel@yahoo.com or Mitzuo's E-mail is info@fuzzypsg.com. His website will show all the different styles and colors.
Bill Stafford will also be a good source for Excel info, he is always willing to help also.
Feel free to contact me anytime. I stay pretty busy on the farm but I will get back to you
ASAP. I have no monetary interest,I'm just here to help.
As far as Excel guitars go, I've never had any problems with them I couldn't fix myself.
I'll be playin' in Japan Sept. 17 thru Sept.22 for the Tokyo Steel Guitar Convention if you have any questions for me to talk to Mitzuo about.
Again, thanks for all the great reviews. Looking forward to hearing from each and everyone of you.
