Ok so I have made a lap guitar and I have come up with a 1/2 step pull on one string using some shaft collars and a piece of bent stainless steel you can activate with your knee.

Now all I need is a simple way to lower another string either 1/2 or a whole tone. Some of you guys who have tinkered with this please give me some ideas as to how I can do this the simplest way possible with something like a small palm activated pedal since I already have the knee working the raise.

The roller bridge is just a shaft with collars on it. The non bending strings are locked down with the set screw and the strings that will pitch change are free spinning on the shaft. Raising is easy as the string tension brings it back down to pitch. Lowering is another story as there has to be some spring involved in bringing the pitch back up.

A Bigsby palm pedal is just way to expensive for this. Any ideas????
