That's my buddies Luther and Cody Dickinson and Chris Chew of the Mississippi All Stars with him. they are all stellar musicians, and both Luther and Cody also play lap steel very well.

Thanks for sharing that. That's the clearest picture I've seen yet of the new Robert Randolph signature model Peavey Power Slide.

I just got this one about the new Power Slide but not even Peavey can tell me anything more about price or availability. Anyone heard anything?

Can anyone tell me what that brace/device is on his picking hand?

I believe it's just a cast. I think I read in Premier Guitar that he injured his hand before doing all the promotion for his latest project.

If the manufacturer cannot tell you anything, why would we have that ability?

Tom,

I'm interested in the Robert Randolph signature model as well so I called Peavey customer service this afternoon. The gentleman I spoke with (I believe his name was Roger) said they didn't have a release date for it, yet. I asked whether they would be selling the upgrading parts for retrofit for the older Power Slide models and he didn't think they would be. So, no news.

I wonder if any of the anti-Robert Randolph contingent will allow themselves to purchase the new RR Signature Steel amp as featured in the Summer NAMM video? ;-)
