Steve Palousek has agreed to take time out from his busy studio work to come jam with us. Here's a link to his bio, on his studio website:

... pretty high-powered guy, we're lucky to know him! Steve took lessons from Buddy Emmons as a youngster, so we're glad to have this connection to him at this sad time. ASGC dedicates the August meeting to the memory of Buddy Emmons, creator of the modern pedal steel guitar and the best that ever was.
Our venue is as usual:

Jerry Don Motley - guitar
Charlie Irwin - bass
John Chandler - drums
We normally start with a jam at 2pm, then featured artist around 3pm, then jam afterward up to 5pm. Get there early to schmooze, hobnob, and network!
The bar has tasty burgers and beverages, no worries about that, bring an appetite. If you have something to sell, bring it... if you want to jam, bring a steel! Hope to see y'all there.
