I was impressed with Tim Marlin's set. Good song selection and the group was cohesive. Tim's phasing was tasteful, and the drumming of Bobby Keith was well done and Larry Schoppe's bass and vocals were outstanding. On the swing stuff they were exceptionable. The background vocals of Bobby and Larry to each other was also well done. Overall; great job. You'all come back, ya hear.
I should add that Billy phelps lead guitar work, sitting in with the group was, as usual, fantastic! Billy is an amazing musician on whatever he plays.

Thanks, Jim for that kind critique. The boy's did a great job of backing me up. I noticed my set list was drenched in Buddy Emmons influence and I was almost embarrassed to play another swing song but compelled to. Thanks to Billy and Patty for giving us the stage
and a nice crowd of lovers of higher class jazz. :)

Thanks, Jim, for the kind words. Also, thanks to Billy for sitting in with us and playing some fine lead guitar. Billy also did some fine backing vocals.
