on august 1st, my wife, miss Martha Lu and myself would have been married 40 years. I had been dragging my feet on posting this, but, due to the request of several forum members, I have decided to add the loss at this time in memoriam. I lost her in the late evening hours of july 6th. life just played out, the show was over and the curtain closed on what had been a good run at the box office. there had been a few bumps in the road along the way, but, she'd take the wheel and straighten the curves and the ride would get smoother.
as for me, i'll just keep on keeping on and looking back on a lifetime of memories and see ya'll down the road....

Jack,I'm so sorry to hear about your wife.Although I never got to meet her,I'm sure she was a wonderful person. Most women whose husbands are involved with music have to endure lots of things that cause friction at times.

I'll be praying for you Jack and I hope to see you soon.

Take care,Andy

thanks guy's....
when suggested for me to go ahead and do this, i was told that it would be a part of a healing process that i need to endeavor. at least it would let me know that i'm not alone. that those that knew us need to know and that those that didn't would care to know. i understand that meaning now. and it is a tremendous help.
thanks again....what a fraternity this is....

you guy's are so kind. this has been a very comforting site of friendship. until living thru this, i never had a clue what it meant to have friends from so far away.
martha lu had an understanding of the forum and especially the gone home section. she would always ask what's new on the forum and for aan update on this section, as from time to time we would find acquaintances from the past and the present. she loved the stories that the older professionals would share on the other sections. you guy's are great!

thanks
