Anyone in Seattle, Oly, Portland regions playing a Rittenberry 10 or 12 string steel? Hoping to kick the tires on one locally.

I'm in Seattle proper with a 2008 SD-10 Ritt. Slight design changes since he built mine but basically the same.

Just an update: I recently bought the only SD-12 Universal ever built by Gary Rittenberry. It's a beaut! Also thanks to Ken Pippus for letting me play his Ritt D-10.
It'll eventually be an amazing extended E9 with 8 pedals, 7 levers. Woo hoo!

So nice to see you posting again, John! You have a one of a kind Ritt and it's amazing in every aspect as you already know. Ken is also a gem to our community. But then you already know that as well. Keep on setting the examples for the rest of us to follow. ;-)

Ritt Prestige

Post by Dennis Lee »

Hi John,
I'm in Forest Grove, and I received last September the SD-10 4x5 Rittenberry Prestige that Gary built for me. I'm sure you've already discovered what a great guitar Gary builds. Action as smooth as butter.
