1967 Emmons S10 PP Restored by Lynn Stafford PRICE DROP

Post by Barrett Williams »

Several people have asked me in the past if I'd ever sell this.. so here goes...

1967 Emmons S10 Push Pull #1097S, 3x4, completely restored by Lynn Stafford in Mid-2013. As many of you know, he's one of the authorities on push/pull restoration and also a fantastic guy to deal with.

This guitar is absolutely incredible. I had Lynn go all the way on the restoration and what I received when he was done was a "like new," as purchased in '67 Emmons. All metal parts were cleaned / polished. I can't even begin to describe the playability and tone of this guitar. Standard Emmons setup, half stop on RKR. Cut tail changer. Original mica. Original Emmons PU. Original Baldwin case included. Only selling because I have several steels, and another one on the way to me. Please email me if you need additional photos or have questions.

NEW Price: $3000 shipped CONUS

Check the photo below of this absolutely amazing guitar.

Wow, Thats a beauty to say the least......BTW, I don't know Lynn and I have never done business with him, but I have seen a few of his restorations and they are works of art.

I have a close cousin to this guitar, #1077 S, also black. I can say without hesitation these little guitars are tone monsters. They have all the push-pull tone and mojo, but without the size and weight of a D-10. I put aluminum legs on mine and it is a breeze to move around. Whoever gets this beauty will be a very happy camper.

Thanks to all for the very kind words.

I'm very surprised that Barrett has chosen to sell this beauty. I hope he doesn't regret it later on. Guitars like this are pretty rare and don't come up for sale often.

I thought I'd post a few photos I have of it, so folks can get a better idea of how nice it looks.
