Pedal steel instruction DC metro area
. I have recently purchased my first pedal steel a Fessenden 8 shot. I have guitar background but zero on pedal steel. I think I would get a better understanding with face to face lessons. Can anyone recommend a teacher in Maryland or DC? Thank you. Jeff W
The first two that spring to mind to ask are Gary Gimble and Tommy Auldridge.
But you chose a guitar that falls short of what the standard pedal steel can do, and this might raise the floor of frustration.
Have you decided on your copedent?

2 pedal steels, a lapStrat, and an 8-string Dobro (and 3 ukes)
More amps than guitars, and not many effects

Yes, I can help.
Jeff: I sent you an email through the Forum. I never know if they actually go through. You can contact me if you want some help getting started. Tommy...... grandmamidas@aol.com
