I just got word from William that we will be working on this song during the Saturday Lessons coming up. :) We will do both intros and breaks from Mike Johnson and Keith Whitley. Gonna' be great!

Really nice, William! When I played for Marty Haggard, he used to sing that song and I looked forward to playing it every night.

That's too cool! This was a song that I never paid much attention to outside of Lefty Frizzell and Marty's daddy's version. I mean, that's enough right there, but William's turned me on to so much good music. He's covered this in various Steel-In sessions before I signed up to his deal, various versions like Keith Whitley's and Michael Johnson's breaks and intros. But William's take is pretty good too!
