What does a reverb pan sound like when they are worn out? |

Never known a reverb pan to just "wear out". usually what happens is the transformers go (rare), the transformer wires disconnect (easy fix), or 1 or more springs disconnect (easier fix).
More likely the reverb driver tube will go bad, then usually you will just get less reverb.
I am talking Fender amp here. Not familiar with other reverbs. _________________ A couple D-10s,some vintage guitars & amps, & lotsa junk in the gig bag. |

Most all solid state uses 4EB2C1B pans. I have a pan out of a 70's Acoustic 150 in my Peavey ValveKing 212. (Works a lot better than the little "8" series original.)
The Fender tube type use 4AB2,or3,C1B. |
