Milkman 50W Sideman 15in Combo w/External 15in JBL

Post by b0b »

Big rig! I'm selling this for a close friend. He bought it last year and it's never been gigged.

The Milkman Sideman is a dream rig for anyone who plays both guitar and pedal steel. One channel is voiced for guitar, the other for steel. 50 watts of 6L6 tube power is plenty loud for any stage, and the external JBL K130 (NOS recone 4ohm) cabinet adds a rich extra dimension of sound. Price for everything: $3000 shipped to the lower 48.

The cabs are finished with a very conservative black and silver "Fender" appearance. The amp weighs 50 lbs and the external cab is probably about 30 lbs. Pics will follow.

The external speaker is a new old stock JBL K130 4 Ohm recone kit applied to a D130 frame. It has "that sound".

Any chance of selling the amp by itself?

This is hundreds of dollars less than it would cost direct from Milkman, and without the wait. It's in "like new" condition. Shipping is included in the price, and my friend will discount $100 for local pickup here in Sonoma County, CA.
