Pics of Latest Build

Post by Sonny Jenkins »

This is some of the most beautiful wood I've ever seen,,,,pics do not do it justice,,,(my ABILITY does not do it justice!). I think I've had this piece of tiger stripe maple for 6-8 years,,,,I think the golden fleck mahogany is Madagascar,,,both very highly figured wood. Wallace tru-tone pick up. I have a few tweaks to do,,,,then it will have to go to market,,,(may sell the one I've been playing for years and KEEP this one,,,,LOL).

Nice work, Sonny -- beautiful wood, and I like the way you combined the maple and mahog. So, how does it sound and play?

Nice one Sonny! I'll bet it sounds nice, those TrueTones go well with mahogany / maple combos.
